Do you have used books you want to share?

While money is always useful, it is often not possible for many people to donate. However, everyone has used books! Whether it's books your kids have grown out of or books that you have already read and no longer want, we'll take them! They will be added to our annual book sales and all the profits will go to the Friends to be used for programs within our community.

We appreciate donations of New and Used books in excellent condition.

What we are looking for are current hard cover and paperback fiction and nonfiction books.  We will accept current travel, cookbooks, crafts, large print, art, biographies, children's books, and the classics.

No more than two (2) bags per visit can be dropped off during our donation times.  Check our Website and our Facebook page for a schedule.

The Friends may refuse donated items due to space limitations and/or condition of the materials and/or request for special treatment or tracking of donations.  Books which are damaged, mildewed, bug infested or contain outdated information, such as old medical or law books, are not accepted.

Textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, cassette tapes, DVDs and books on cd, jigsaw puzzles and board games and any dated materials (technical manuals, tour guides, etc.) will NOT be accepted. We are NOT accepting VHS tapes, cassette tapes, records, or music CDs or cassettes.

Book donations are accepted with the understanding that the library may make
whatever use of the material it feels appropriate. Items are evaluated on the same basis as purchased materials and may be added to the library’s collection, donated to the Friends book sale to benefit the library.

Book donations will be acknowledged with a standardized form for tax purposes if requested.
